Wiltshire-based cyber security company and 2018 Techies award winner Foregenix has expanded its Threat Intelligence Group (TIG) in the Asia-Pacific region with the establishment of a new base in Melbourne, Australia.

The move will enable the Marlborough firm, which has offices in Europe, Africa, South East Asia and North and South America, to offer TIG services around the clock in a follow-the-sun fashion.

The TIG provides real-time remote monitoring and review of endpoint systems, specifically focusing on indicators of compromise whilst also supporting clients in their containment strategies and efforts.

Foregenix has experienced a rapidly growing client base in Asia-Pacific since opening its first regional office in Sydney in May 2017. Most recently, Foregenix has opened an office in Singapore to better support the region’s client base north of the equator.

Raymond Simpson, MD for Asia-Pacific at Foregenix, said, “The increasing local presence we now have in place will help in speeding up customer response times and provide for more effective support for our Endpoint Security and Managed Detection and Response services.”

Benjamin Hosack, Foregenix’s Chief Commercial Officer, added, “Our client base is spread across the world and all require the highest level of support to deal with serious issues that can arise at anytime. We now have a follow-the-sun model of support for companies and organisations, which require highly secure trading environments for themselves and the clients they serve.”
