Blackworth Industrial Estate in Swindon has been acquired by Manchester-based MCR Property Group in its third southern industrial acquisition this year.
The final acquisition price is undisclosed for the four plot transaction, which benefits from 176,605 sq. ft of existing accommodation.

“Swindon has a vibrant industrial base which is driving demand for space along the M4 corridor from the South West to London. We particularly liked the Blackworth Industrial Estate because of its excellent layout and the opportunities to add value.
“This deal demonstrates how MCR plans on increasingly looking to the South West and the surrounding catchment area, making significant investments in industrial areas like Swindon. As such, it represents a real vote of confidence in the South West economy.”
Blackworth Industrial Estate is the latest addition to the MCR Property Group portfolio which also includes in the South West, Avonmouth Industrial Estate in Bristol and Rockbeare Quarry in Exeter. Further acquisitions are in the pipeline.
