New agency sponsors Swindon Wildcats

Visual PR has announced its sponsorship of the Bespoke Guardian Swindon Wildcats ice hockey team.

Founded by motorsports commentator Chris Dawes, Visual PR is a Wiltshire-based agency with a focus on producing chat show-style broadcasts. Leveraging his experience as an award-winning motorsports commentator, voiceover artist, awards night presenter and trainer, Chris has launched the agency to offer engaging ways for businesses and organisations to tell their stories to the people they want to reach.

The sponsorship of the Wildcats will see the team sporting Visual PR logos on their sleeves.

As a Wildcats fan, sponsoring the side was an easy decision for Chris.

He said, “We started going along to the games as something for us to do as a family.

“We were all soon hooked. My daughter loved it, because it is so child-friendly and when she was younger, she would get fist bumps from the amazingly family-friendly players and then go off and play with the other children, rink-side.

“Now she’s really engaged and we sit up in the stands to watch. My wife enjoys it too, and for me, it is fast-paced, just like the motorsports that I love.”

Visual PR is also working with the Wildcats to create an episode of their own chat show style programme, which is likely to be broadcast in the run up to the new season.

Wildcats Commercial Manager, Sally Fox-Price, said, “I’m excited to welcome Visual PR on board as sponsors for the 2023/24 season. I have been connected with Chris for some years now through local networking and it’s been great to see him attending the ice hockey when he’s not busy commentating on motorsports.

“Visual PR is a creative, unique and quite brilliant new business venture for Chris and I cannot wait to help push the brand forward and to build on our already great relationship. Here’s to a successful season.”
