On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire is putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.
Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.
“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”
For over 70 years, Age UK Wiltshire has been providing support and services to older people living in Swindon and Wiltshire. The charity wants everyone to be able to love later life.
Age UK Wiltshire promotes the wellbeing of all older people and works to make later life a fulfilling and enjoyable experience. The organisation recognise that every person is an individual with different needs, preferences and abilities. Its aim is to reflect this diversity in everything it does, including making its services inclusive and accessible to older people from all sections of the community and by attracting and retaining a diverse workforce of both staff and volunteers.
The Business Exchange organises The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo. Back for a fifth year in 2023, the event is set to return to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 15th June.
