The Business Exchange 12 Days of Christmas – Day 7

By Anita Jaynes on 19 December, 2022

On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire is putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.

Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.

“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”

Today we put the spotlight on The Platform Project.

The Platform Project helps disadvantaged and vulnerable young people in Swindon, develop the skills, confidence and experience they need to launch their career and take sustainable steps towards a thriving future. It works closely with local authorities, education institutions and local employers to bridge the gap between education and employment so that young people can overcome challenges and become work ready, capable, and confident entry level talent.
