On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire is putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.
Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.
“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”
Julia’s House is a an award-winning children’s hospice dedicated to bringing comfort and care to families in Dorset and Wiltshire. Each family the charity supports is unique and so is the care it provides. When a family finds out that their child has a very serious medical condition, which is life-limiting or life-threatening, their world falls apart. Julia’s House exists to help these children and their families. It provides care for the child, support for the family, end of life care and bereavement support.
Julia’s House cares for children throughout Wiltshire from its base in Devizes.
