On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire is putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.
Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.
“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”
Today, we put the spotlight on Swindon-based charity Dressability.
Dressability supports the clothing needs of individuals with disabilities and those with limited dexterity, making life easier dressing and undressing.
The charity provides a personal, tailored and bespoke service developing practical solutions to everyday problems.
By adapting people’s clothing and not their style, Dressability enables clients to maintain their independence and enjoy a sense of wellbeing based on their own personal choice.
The Business Exchange organises The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo. Back for a fifth year in 2023, the event is set to return to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 15th June.
