On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire has been putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.
Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.
“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”
Wiltshire Air Ambulance provides rapid emergency medical treatment across Wiltshire, Bath and the surrounding areas.
Whilst many of us will be enjoying some much-needed time off over the Christmas and New Year period, Wiltshire Air Ambulance will be operational and ready to respond to emergencies. Its lifesaving service runs up to 19 hours a day, 365 days a year.
Wiltshire Air Ambulance is only able to provide its essential Helicopter Medical Service (HEMS) thanks to the people, businesses and grant-making trusts who donate and fundraise for the cause which needs £4 million pounds a year to keep flying.
