The Business Exchange 12 Days of Christmas – Day 11

By Anita Jaynes on 23 December, 2022

On the run up to Christmas this year, each day from 12th-24th December, The Business Exchange Swindon and Wiltshire is putting the spotlight on a local charity and its work.

Anita Jaynes, Founder of The Business Exchange, said, “It’s the season of giving and perpetual hope and it makes sense to use our reach to help raise awareness of some amazing causes in our community and their work.

“The Business Exchange is all about connecting people and organisations for good and corporate social responsibility is important to me personally. The not-for-profit space is particularly tough at the moment and needs all the help it can get.”

Today we put the spotlight on Wiltshire Wildlife Trust.

Wiltshire Wildlife Trust was founded in 1962, driven by a concern to protect local wildlife and natural habitats.

The charity’s first nature reserve was Blackmoor Copse near Salisbury, a Site of Special Scientific Interest and one of the most important woods in Wiltshire for butterflies.

Today, it manages over 40 nature reserves across the county, including wetland, woodland, meadow and chalk downland habitats.

This year, Wiltshire Wildlife Trust is celebrating 60 years since it was established. Watch this short video to find out more about its work.

The Business Exchange organises The Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo. Back for a fifth year in 2023, the event is set to return to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 15th June.
