Hospital Radio Swindon has unveiled its new website and brand identity.

The project, brought to life by Swindon-based creative agency GEL Studios, marks the beginning of a new chapter for the well-established radio station, as it continues to serve the community.

Since its inception back in 1938, Hospital Radio Swindon has broadcast informative and entertaining shows directly to patients, NHS staff and visitors.

Based at the Great Western Hospital, the team at Hospital Radio Swindon asked GEL Studios for support to refresh its outdated and unintuitive website. New branding formed part of the scope of work to bring the community station up to date.

The new website now makes key information, including radio schedules and volunteering information, easy to access. It also includes a news area where the charity can share positive stories and upcoming events.

Glynn Hopkins, Secretary and Treasurer at Hospital Radio Swindon, said, “The Hospital Radio Swindon team are so grateful to GEL Studios. Working with Katie and Elisha has been such a pleasure. From first contact all the way through to website training, nothing has been too much trouble for them.

“We now have a professional-looking website alongside a new logo which we are so delighted with. Having this new website really allows us to showcase the great work that all of our volunteers do on a daily basis by broadcasting to the patients.”

Graeme Leighfield, Founder of GEL Studios, added, “Giving back to the community is at the core of what we do here at GEL Studios. We are grateful Hospital Radio Swindon reached out to us and proud we were able to contribute to this new dawn for the radio station which is appreciated by so many around Swindon.”
