Award-winning law firm, Goughs Solicitors, has officially opened its Charity of the Year application process.

Wiltshire-based charities are encouraged to apply to Goughs for support for 2024 as part of the firm’s commitment to supporting local communities.

Goughs is proud to currently be working with Trowbridge-based charity FearFree, and has undertaken many fundraising activities to support its important work in breaking the cycle of domestic abuse. These have included the Cotswold Way 25k walk, skydives, the Bath half marathon, charity pub quizzes and in-office initiatives such as dress down days, sporting sweepstakes and bake sales.

Previous support has been given to Julia’s House Hospice, Wiltshire Air Ambulance and Wiltshire Mind among others.

Partner & Head of Charity at Goughs, Emma Taylor, said, “Goughs are proud to have successfully established corporate partnerships with our respective Charities of the Year, having supported a wide variety of causes over the years. Our teams are passionate about getting involved in a diverse and creative mixture of fundraising events and challenges, both organised by ourselves and our partnered charity. Above and beyond this, we strive to engage with you actively and regularly throughout the year to explore ways to collaborate, ensuring our relationship is both dynamic and makes the most of our twelve months of partnership.”

If you know of or work for a Charity in Wiltshire that you think could benefit from Goughs’ support, please email charity@goughs.co.uk or head to www.goughs.co.uk/charity/ to find out more about the application process.
