The Bradford on Avon Cycling Festival is back in the annual calendar with a weekend of cycling events and activities for all ages and abilities.
Sponsored by local businesses Varn, AB Dynamics, TT Cycles, Moulton Bicycles and Jones Hill Financial Planning, the event returns on Saturday July 14, 2018.
The festival kicks off with the infamous hill climb, a true test of grit and determination up Bradford on Avon’s Market Street and Masons Lane. In 2015 the victor was triumphant with a time of 58 seconds….Who fancies trying to beat that?
Then on Sunday July 15, there are 2 varying length sportives taking place, along with a family fun ride and the Great BoA Toddle. The Toddle is a new event for toddlers to come along on two or three wheeled bikes, trikes and scooters (anything that can ride on grass). The aim of the Toddle is to raise money for the Forever Friends Appeal which many locals will know, as it supports the Royal United Hospital (RUH). To complement the fun cycling day there will also be an array of other activities to do, such as a skill bike track, cycle football, smoothie bike, craft station and inflatables.
