Thrings’ Corporate Team was brought in to advise DataShapa through the legal aspects of the sale late in 2022, utilising its expertise in technology and private equity, as well as its track record in advising on the sale of SMEs, to successfully complete the deal.

Thrings Partner Simon Hore, who works in the firm’s Bath and Swindon offices, led the team advising the shareholders of DataShapa. He said, “We are pleased to have supported Alister and his team on the successful sale. The new partnership with Transparity will provide a great springboard to flourish which is also great news for its staff. We wish Alister and his team success in the future.”

Alister Jones, DataShapa Founder and Managing Director, added, “I am delighted to have worked with Thrings in the successful completion of this sale. Their advice has helped to ensure the process has remained smooth throughout, helping all parties to arrive at a mutually beneficial outcome.”
