Bristol-based law firm, TLT Solicitors, has advised Conviviality Plc, the distributor of alcohol and impulse products, on its new partnership with the Wiltshire-based brewery, Wadworth.

The partnership will see Conviviality’s company, Matthew Clark, assume responsibility for Wadworth’s free trade business, with the aim of transforming Wadworth’s 6X cask ale beer brand “from a regional to a national brand.” Conviviality’s other business, Bibendum, will also supply wine and spirits to Wadworth, with a focus on “adding premium brands to its estate.”

Conviviality was advised by TLT’s corporate team. Alice Gardner, partner at TLT, led the deal, supported by solicitor Henry Male. The firm supported Conviviality’s in-house legal team and enabled the deal to exchange in two weeks from the point of instruction.

Alice said: “We are delighted to have worked alongside the legal team at Conviviality to deliver this new opportunity for it to expand its client base and offering.”

Ciaran Stone, group head of legal and company secretary of Conviviality plc, added: “TLT collaborated with the team here at Conviviality to ensure that the transaction proceeded to timetable and that we received efficient, quick and clear advice.”
