Our team, has been working with Swindon-based SSGC, one of the UK’s fastest growing security companies, to assist in the acquisition of Security 2000 Limited based in Bristol.

Security 2000 provides a range of security services across the South West including Bristol, Avonmouth, Clevedon and Wiltshire. As a result, SSGC has now added mobile patrols and key holding to the group’s service offering. The synergy between the businesses is already very much apparent with new services being available to both SSGC and Security 2000 clients.

David Stubbs, CEO of SSGC, said: “One of the main focuses of our acquisition drive is to acquire businesses which are looking for external backing to support their own growth prospects and that’s exactly the case with Security 2000.

“The company has an outstanding reputation for professionalism and service across a range of sectors and that’s an undoubted position of strength to build from.”

Security 2000 director Richard Rees said: “Our client retention is probably the highest within the security industry and some of our clients have been with us since our first day of trading. We are delighted to be working with David and his team at SSGC.”

Through our work on this transaction, Haines Watts Swindon has been able to support SSGC with its ambitious growth plans and we are looking forward to working with David and the SSGC team on a number of future potential acquisitions. We, at  Haines Watts Swindon, wish all parties every success going forward.
