David Owen Chartered Accountants has announced recent exam successes for some of its employees.
The company, which has offices in Devizes and Marlborough, places emphasis on staff training and career development, seeing them as an important part of the culture of the business.
Not only do all partners and employees regularly attend continuing professional development (CPD) training, David Owen also offers the necessary support for accountancy trainees to achieve professional qualifications.
Staff member Curtis Bailey is now a fully qualified Chartered Accountant (ACA) having completed his Association of Chartered Accountants (ACA) exams. Curtis joined David Owen five years ago, initially completing his Association of Accounting Technician (AAT) studies before progressing.
Andrew Coombes, Training Partner at David Owen, said, “We are delighted for Curtis. Becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant is the culmination of many years of studying and hard work. We look forward to seeing Curtis continue to grow and develop his career with us.”
In addition, Shannon Smy is now well on her way to becoming a fully qualified Chartered Accountant, having passed 10 of the 15 ACA exams, whilst Stephanie Bridewell has now passed eight of the 13 Association of Chartered Certified Accountants exams.
Trainees Jake Vallis and Faye A’Bear are now both fully AAT qualified having successfully completed their Level 4 exams whilst newest trainee Chloe Dadd has also passed her AAT Level 3.
