The Business Exchange is delighted to be working with Chris Dawes at Open Dawes Training Ltd to bring you a very special TBE virtual breakfast on Thursday 22nd April from 9-10am.
The pandemic has forced us to host meetings, attend events and network online with varying levels of confidence. Chris, whose training is CPD (Continuing Professional Development) accredited, will give you top tips and advice on how to deliver the best ‘you’ when public speaking or presenting online.
Chris said, “Feeling confident when speaking online is going to be increasingly important. I believe that even after lockdown ends there will be a big increase in remote technologies being used for meetings, presentations, demonstrations, and training. It won’t replace face-to-face completely, but it provides a cheaper, more environmentally friendly, convenient and responsive option for us all.
“Drawing on my experience of presenting to TV or web cameras for many years, and helping professional sports and businesspeople maximise their presence and effectiveness when being in front of a camera, I help people remove the fear of doing something that can feel unnatural to many of us, whether in-person or online. So, I am looking forward to providing some tips and advice that can help you get the most out of and feel more at ease when speaking with others on camera on Thursday 22nd April.”
The event will consist of a 10-minute intro with networking, 20-minute talk, a Q&A segment and then 30-minutes of networking and discussion.
