GEL Studios has raised £500 for one of its clients by hosting a private screening of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness.

The screening was held at Cineworld in Regent Circus on Friday 6th May and those who attended were asked to make a donation to Thames Hospice via an honesty box or online.

GEL Studios is a full-service, creative agency based in South Marston that has worked with Thames Hospice for a number of years. During that time, GEL Studios has built a brand-new website and continues to provide ongoing support for the hospice’s fundraising campaigns.

Digital Marketing Manager Hannah Bartle who works for Thames Hospice is currently trekking the last 100km of the Camino de Santiago in Spain. All donations from the private screening will help her to reach her fundraising target of £2,000.

Thames Hospice is based in Maidenhead and provides palliative and end-of-life care services to those facing a terminal illness.

Managing Director of GEL Studios, Graeme Leighfield said, “GEL Studios is all about making a difference, to our clients and our community. It’s what drives us each and every day. We’re big on relationships, and our processes mean that our clients become more like friends. When we heard about Hannah’s trek, we knew we had to help.

“The whole team at GEL Studios are big Marvel fans. So having the opportunity to see the latest film in the franchise while raising money for a good cause at the same time was the perfect combination for us.

“We plan to host another private viewing in July when the new Thor film is released and will be raising money for another good cause then too.”
