Swindon-based film production company, Sandstorm who were established in 2000 have gone from strength to strength since moving to their custom-built and state-of-the-art studios just off junction 15 on the M4. Their impressive portfolio of full production and studio hire work includes, music videos for Chase and Status, advertising campaigns for Dyson, Nationwide and Intel and working with celebrities such as Jack Black and Bear Grylls.

This month (July 2017) sees Sandstorm wrapping up a four month project with Endemol Shine who are producing a brand-new television series for the BBC.  The show that is to be broadcast later in the year required the full use of the interior and exterior of the studio including automotive access into the Sandstorm studio stages. The BBC team were so impressed with the VIP lounge, reception and meeting rooms at the studios that they wrote these into the series specifically.

Sandstorm managing director Tom Ward said: “We couldn’t be happier with how this project has run and it’s been a pleasure to work with the Endemol Shine and BBC teams.”

When Tom was asked about the success of Sandstorm despite its unconventional location he said: “It’s simple, we believe that by providing the very best studio environment even the biggest brands and companies in the country see the value in moving away from the traditional London studios.”
