One of the South-West’s best known independent businessmen, the leading UK jewellery designer Nicholas Wylde, will re-open his newly refurbished Bath shop in the heart of the city on Saturday 1st February.
Nicholas has been designing and hand-making jewellery in Bath for over 25 years and is regarded as one of the top 50 jewellery designers in Britain, with his unique Wylde Flower Diamond, putting him amongst the top diamond designers in the world.
With the opening just two weeks before Valentine’s Day, Nicholas has designed the stunning new ‘Locked in Love’ jewellery collection, featuring a silver padlock pendant with inlaid rose gold heart, matching cufflinks and a mini heart padlock bracelet charm. An optional diamond can also be added to the design.
To celebrate the move back to the newly refurbished Nicholas Wylde shop in Northumberland place, after the fire that destroyed the building last year, Nicholas is launching the Wylde Valentine’s Day Competition. One lucky winner will receive a luxury prize package worth £1,500, including a his and hers ‘Locked in Love’ pendant and cufflinks; a night in a luxurious suite at The Royal Crescent Hotel, with breakfast, use of The Spa and lunch at The Dower Restaurant; a VIP visit to the Fashion Museum and Roman Baths with Pump Room Champagne Tea; two dozen red roses from Crescent Flowers; Champagne Jacquart Brut Rose from Great Western Wine and a luxury Valentine’s chocolate selection from Charlotte Brunswick, Bath.
To enter the Wylde Valentine’s Day competition, visit Nicholas Wylde Jewellers in Northumberland Place, off Bath High Street, between 1st and 13th February and choose one of 14 keys to unlock the Valentine’s Vault. If the key fits and the vault opens, the lucky key holder’s name will be entered into the final draw, which will be held at 4pm on 13th February. The winner will be informed on Valentine’s day itself and the fabulous prizes can be enjoyed over the coming months.
Nicholas has made jewellery for famous TV and sports personalities as well as members of the Royal Family. His clients regularly travel to his shops in Bath and Bristol from across the UK and beyond to discuss bespoke designs and browse his unique jewellery collection, with items ranging from £50 to luxurious, multi-carat diamond engagement rings.
In May last year, the Nicholas Wylde and his team were devastated when an electrical fault caused an overnight fire that destroyed the interior of the shop in Northumberland Place, one of the prettiest pedestrian streets in Bath, where Nicholas has worked for over quarter of a century.
Operating out of temporary premises while restoration work took place, the team can’t wait to move back into the newly refurbished shop. Nicholas says “It’s been a very long journey but, with the support of staff, clients, business colleagues and friends, we have achieved what seemed to be an impossible task and kept Nicholas Wylde trading in the only style I know, which is moving forward and looking after my clients”.
The refurbished shop has been completely renovated in a contemporary design, with new lighting and display systems, oak floors, client champagne bar, comfortable seating, wifi and phone charging facilities and stunning new window facade.
