Visual PR, a Swindon-based company that creates talk show style, interactive productions for its clients, is due to start broadcasting for local creative agency GEL Studios this month (November).
Founded by professional motorsports commentator, Chris Dawes, Visual PR’s clients include businesses, charities and sports organisations. The productions are broadcast live (or filmed ‘as live’) directly to the organisation’s YouTube channel and social media platforms.
But its service extends beyond the regular shows. GEL Studios’ first monthly, interactive show (due for broadcast on November 27th) will also make Visual PR’s services available to its own clients so they can have their own branded productions.
Other clients of Visual PR include Optimum Professional Services, which launched its first monthly show in October and there has also been a show for Swindon Wildcats.
Graeme Leighfield, GEL Studios’ Founder, said, “What Visual PR does is connect a lot of the dots together; it adds a new dynamic to marketing. But more than just the show, it’s also all the content it can generate afterwards as well. So, there is an immense amount of value in there for any SME that wants to use it.”
The client-branded shows are broadcast and produced via an online virtual studio which enables Chris to conduct interviews (much more natural than reading a script to camera), host multiple guests at the same time from wherever they are based, different camera focuses and angles, stings of other videos (such as slick intros, transitions, adverts, and outros, as well as corporate videos) and there is even a green room for those waiting to come on.
Each show can be repurposed, with excerpts turned into numerous short videos of varying length, for use as social media posts or for marketing. Audio-only versions of each show can be turned into a podcast. The run-up to each show also presents opportunities to engage audiences and create expectation and anticipation.
Chris – who launched Visual PR earlier this year – said, “It’s great to have Graeme and the team from GEL Studios on board, and I’m really looking forward to producing shows for them, as well as some of their own clients, in due course.
“Visual PR is an exciting service for organisations to fill the gap between PR and marketing with live client-branded, interactive, online broadcasts from our virtual studio, which elevate the brand and ignite audience interaction. They really bring PR to life in a world where we need to stay visible.”
Visual PR was also recently given a ‘shout-out’ on X (formerly, Twitter) by BBC Dragons’ Den’s former dragon Theo Paphitis, and invited to become one of an elite group of small businesses in the entrepreneur’s Small Business Sunday network.
