BBC trained Director of Photography and Sony trainer, Jeremy Humphries, has teamed up with local digital marketing agency, Varn, to offer businesses and individuals the chance to attend a video content creation workshop. The webinar is designed to help you stand out amongst the crowd and drive your business forward in this digital age.
Jeremy’s credits include, Hunted for Channel 4 Kevin McCloud’s Escape to the Wild, Horizon, Secret Millionaire, Kitchen Nightmares, Coast, BBC Ring of Fire.
On Thursday 21st May at 12pm, Jeremy is holding a 30 min Facebook Live webinar to provide a taster of a full day, hands-on workshop.
Webinar topics include:
- How to use a camera to engage an audience – whatever the subject
- Filming an interview
- Providing authentic presentation on camera
- What equipment you need
- Practical exercises you can do
After the webinar you will appreciate the skills required to help you produce your own professional video content. Combined with the full day training available, you will realise that simply pointing your camera and ‘hoping for the best’ doesn’t work!
You can join the workshop on Thursday 21st May at 12pm on the Skills2Film Facebook page.
Full one-day video workshops
The full workshops start in September, with the aim to train and equip businesses to enable them to create effective, compelling and engaging video content. No more reliance on external providers – instead Jeremy Humphries will train you how to storyboard, film and to present your story and to sell your brand and engage with your audience.
Together, Jeremy and Varn want to give businesses the skills to take video in-house so that they can deliver expert content in a fun and dynamic way, without having to rely on external providers. As part of the day, there will also be tips on how to best optimise your video for search marketing.
