Cardwave picks up top award for SafeToGo Solo

Devizes-based computer security company, Cardwave recently attended the 2018 Computing Security Awards in London, a ceremony which saw the firm win the ‘New Product of the Year’ award for SafeToGo® Solo, a hardware encrypted USB.

Furthermore – amid what Cardwave described as  “tough competition” – SafeToGo® Solo was also recognised in the ‘Encryption Solution of the Year’ and ‘Data Loss Prevention Solution’ categories, coming runner-up in both.

The Computing Security Awards aims to honour the best products, designers, providers and solutions for data security within the “rapidly growing” information security industry.

Paul Norbury, chief executive for Cardwave said: “Being recognised for ‘New Product of the Year’ is a great endorsement of the work we are doing to help organisations securely manage their data on the move. I look forward to launching new products over the coming year, and to continuing to support businesses of all sizes in keeping sensitive data safe and eliminating the risk of costly data breaches.”

Cardwave claims to work with customers of all sizes across the world, providing specialist expertise to organisations who need to secure and distribute their data on removable and embedded media and has positioned itself as “one of the market leaders.”

It offers business solutions for data security in the form of SafeToGo® Solo, an AES-256 XTS hardware encrypted USB.

The award ceremony took place on 11 October.
