Wiltshire business gets quality award

A Wiltshire business which specialises in assisting other companies to get endorsed for quality has itself received top marks, joining the likes of BMW and Coca-Cola which also achieved the award.

QAS International was awarded the 4 star Recognised for Excellence rating from the European Foundation for Quality Management. It was the first time the company had entered itself for the award. QAS now joins such household names as BMW, Bosch and Coca-Cola, which have also been through the EFQM process.

Based in Malmesbury, Wiltshire, QAS International certificates companies seeking to gain the internationally-recognised ISO standards. QAS’s auditors check that the ISO criteria have been met prior to certification, and also help businesses to maintain standards so they can retain ISO going forwards.

Assessors from EFQM spent a week with QAS, making rigorous checks on the company’s processes and procedures, covering nine key criteria such as leadership and internal processes, before awarding the 4 star rating.

Nadine Bryars, of QAS, said: “Being awarded a 4 star recognition for QAS International on its initial assessment is an incredible achievement.  It is only the continuous support and commitment of our people which enabled us to achieve such a prestigious award.  Having internal processes and objectives in place ensures we are looking to continually improve the service and support we offer not only internally to our staff, but externally to our consultants and clients, both existing and new.”
