VisitWiltshire’s website www.visitwiltshire.co.uk has been named the Best UK Tourist Board Website in the TravelMole UK Awards, which also recognises its channel website, Visit Salisbury.
This is the second time VisitWiltshire has won this award after first receiving it in 2015. This year, VisitWiltshire was one of three finalists in the category of Best UK Tourist Board Website, which also included Visit Wales and Visit Isle of Wight. Finalists were chosen based on content, layout, ease of navigation, and innovation. Each award category was open to public vote, with participants asked to cast their vote by visiting TravelMole UK’s website.
The awards ceremony was held on Wednesday, 20th November in Soho, London with travel companies, tourist boards, suppliers, and other travel industry professionals in attendance. The TravelMole UK Awards recognises business and organisations specialising in travel, that have made a significant impact in web, social, mobile and technology. Winners from the event include Jet2holidays, Travelzoo, Visit Jamaica, icelolly.com, Hays Travel and Kuoni.
