A vintage and homewares shop in Corsham celebrated its first birthday at the weekend (Saturday October 15) with a party for customers and residents.

Previous Homewares in Corsham High Street was founded  by entrepreneur Nicola White and offers vintage and modern goods.

The shop has proved popular with locals and also attracts customers from across Wiltshire and Bath. Many helped Nicola and her team celebrate their first anniversary.

Nicola said: “I would like to thank everyone who took the time to come along and celebrate with us. It was a busy afternoon and the shop was packed with people. Congratulations to Penelope Wahid who took part in my prize draw and won the hamper with £150 of Previous Homewares’ goodies.”

Nicola originally created her company whilst teaching Cultural Studies at London’s University of the Arts in 2008. Her vision was to eventually make her living by sourcing and selling vintage and modern products.

It was her love of her home town of Corsham that prompted her to take on a retail shop. She and her architect husband Chris travel across the UK and abroad to source new and old objects for her online and shop customers. For more information visit www.previoushomewares.co.uk
