Two Wiltshire business women champion the power of ‘taking a break’ ahead of International Women’s Day

International speaker and hypnotherapist, Helen Breward, of Pebbles Hypnotherapy and creator of organic skincare company, Pink&Green Skincare, Carol Aplin have women in mind in their recent collaborative work.

Over time, both Swindon entrepreneurs have noticed that (in general) women expect a lot of themselves.  What women can forget to do, is find them “selves” and give this important aspect of “self” much quality time. They wanted to offer women the opportunity to take a break from addressing the needs of others, and focus upon their own needs for a while.

Helen and Carol realise the importance of creating space for “you” and look for ways to offer positive reinforcement of these values in their individual businesses.

To be launched for International Women’s Day, the two business women have worked together on the concept of a dedicated twenty minute relaxation and empowerment recording that is now available free.  It can be downloaded via their websites, www.pebbleshypnotherapy.com (email Helen and request a recording) and www.pinkandgreenskincare.co.uk (email Carol and request a recoding).

They believe that by nurturing your “self” first, you are far more able to help others.

Helen started Pebbles Hypnotherapy in 2011, with the aim of helping individuals to overcome personal issues and obstacles in their lives.

The focus is very much on teaching techniques and strategies that people can use on a regular basis, whatever the setting. Alongside that is the relaxation part, which is a natural element to everyday life, just deeper and specifically focused.

At Pebbles Hypnotherapy, Helen specialises in the Virtual Gastric Band weight loss; Stress and Anxiety and has also written her own Menopause Relief Programme, aimed at reducing the intensity and frequency of hot flushes.

Helen’s Menopause Relief Programme gained local and national recognition during 2015. Since then, International interest in her work has grown rapidly, with Helen being asked to present her work at the prestigious Canadian Hypnotherapy Conference in October.

Pink&Green Skincare has won two of the prestigious “Janey Loves” Awards in 2015 and 2016, for their organic oil cleanser and eye serum.

Carol was voted “Best New Business for 2015” at the Maximise Women’s Conference at the Pittville Pump Rooms in Cheltenham, with the Women’s Business Club.

Through the brand, Pink&Green, sets out to encourage you to remind yourself you are special; offer the opportunity for quality time and embrace self-worth.

The business launched with five facial oils, oil cleanser and rose floral water – all created with organic ingredients.

Today the brand includes a range of luxury body oils and bath oils.

The brand is being greeted enthusiastically by salon owners and therapists who wish to offer their clients signature facial treatments, using beautifully hand-crafted organic products.
