A secret location will be transformed into a winter wonderland for Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s Silver Jubilee Ball and there is still time to buy tickets.
The Ball includes an auction and a raffle and antiques expert Jonty Hearnden, from TV shows Antiques Roadshow and Cash in the Attic, will be the auctioneer on the evening. Prizes include a helicopter flight, a signed Manchester United football shirt, an Olympic sporting experience, dinner at top restaurants and pamper sessions.
The Silver Jubilee Ball is on Saturday 28 November near Melksham, starting at 7pm. As well as an auction, there will be a three course dinner, live music and dancing. Tickets are £75 per person or £650 for a table of ten.
Rebecca de la Bedoyere, Wiltshire Air Ambulance’s Fundraising Manager, said: “We’ve been flying and saving lives for 25 years and we’re looking forward to celebrating this milestone year with a magical evening of entertainment. Not only will our Silver Jubilee Ball be a fantastic experience for guests, it will raise vital funds for our lifesaving service.
“Our mystery venue will be transformed into an enchanting winter wonderland. We’ve been overwhelmed by the response so far with three quarters of the tickets sold, but there is still time to book the remaining tickets. We’d also love businesses and individuals to get in touch if they can offer a high quality prize for our Jubilee Ball raffle taking place on the night, to ensure we can raise as much as possible to keep our helicopter and crew flying.”
