It’s a month to go until the entry deadline for Swindon and Wiltshire’s IT and Technology awards – The Techies.
Now in its third year, the award scheme puts the spotlight on local firms doing exciting and innovative things with tech.
The Techies is a Business Exchange initiative, supported by headline sponsor, the Swindon & Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership and award category sponsors; Britannia Quickmove, Elm Workspace, Purple Lime, Shaw & Co and Thrings.
There are a range of categories businesses can enter and the award scheme is open to any type of organisation embracing technology to drive forward growth and change.
There are ten categories you can enter including, Future Tech Superstar (for under 25s), the Social Impact award (recognising a product or service driven by technology that is making a difference to its users and the wider community), Best User Experience (presented to the company or individual who can best demonstrate their ability to create a seamless, unique and enjoyable user experience) and Flying the Flag for Swindon & Wiltshire Tech (presented to the company who clearly demonstrates they are doing their bit to get Swindon and Wiltshire recognised on a global stage for innovation and technology).
Past Techies award winners include, Appsbroker, Blue Frontier, Cardwave, Foregenix, Gel Studios, Infinite Group, Infinity Nation, ISN, OJO Solutions, Purple Lime and Render.

The award scheme will culminate in a special award ceremony and celebration of tech on Thursday 21st May 2020. The Techies 2020 is being hosted at a brand new venue, the Pattern Church, Swindon, from 7-10pm. Tickets are £45 and can be purchased here.
