The Brunel Shopping Centre is now offering customers free- Wi-Fi throughout the entire shopping centre.

To access the new service visitors will need to select _FreeBrunelWiFi from the network list on their phones, tablets or laptops and follow a simple one-off sign-up procedure.  Once signed in, future log in just requires a name and password.

Various shops within the centre have offered free Wi-Fi for some time but this is the first time that the centre as a whole has offered the service.

Kevin Gwilliam, General Manager of The Brunel, is finding that the new service is already proving popular with customers.  Kevin said: “The Wi-Fi has been operational for a few weeks now.  We wanted to roll it out gradually so that we could ensure there were no teething troubles, and thankfully it’s working really well. Many customers are now taking advantage of it.”

The Brunel shopping centre occupies over half of Swindon town centre’s retail area and is home to over 100 retailers, cafes and restaurants, with anchor stores of House of Fraser Outlet, Boots, Marks and Spencer and Sainsburys as well as a large number of local, independent stores.
