A leading Wiltshire training and learning provider is celebrating a significant milestone.
TBG Learning has supported 2,000 unemployed people across Wiltshire into work since the introduction of a government scheme launched in 2011.
The organisation, based on Station Road in Swindon, is delivering the Government’s Work Programme on behalf of Rehab JobFit, which helps the long-term unemployed into work through a bespoke package of support and assistance.
The company works with businesses across the region to identify employment opportunities and has regularly expanded its team over the last three years to meet the demand for its services.
The three-year journey has seen TBG Learning evolve from just seven staff into a 20-strong team, some of whom have been employed on the back of their training with the company.
Business manager James Manners believes reaching the milestone is a testament to the hard-working nature of his staff and customers.
“It’s a fantastic achievement to reach the 2,000 milestone and it’s all down to our hardworking team and the dedication of our customers,” James said.
“We really do pride ourselves on providing a bespoke service for our customers. It’s a huge team effort and our staff are so hard-working and are doing a great job helping to boost confidence and skills through a mixture of advice and training.
“We are giving jobseekers a push in the right direction to find employment with businesses across Wiltshire.
“But we also recruit customers into our own business– we have great faith in our work and we are committed to helping people into sustained work.
“Over the years we have built strong relationships with companies and employers, and we look forward to continuing our support to the talented people we have here in Swindon into work.”
