The sixth annual Business Exchange South West Charity Conference & Expo is returning to Bath Racecourse on Thursday 13th June 2024.
The theme of the day is ‘Driving Positive Change’ with the aim to open up conversations around societal issues and how we can all work collectively to make a difference in our community.
The event is being delivered in partnership with our sponsors Milsted Langdon, St John’s Foundation and Stone King.
In the run-up to the conference, we’ll be featuring some of the organisations who will be exhibiting on the day to find out more about their mission and what delegates can expect to learn from them at the event.
Today we hear from Martin Reeves, Director of Business Development for Wiltshire College & University Centre…
Tell us about your organisation
Wiltshire College & University Centre is a leading provider of Further Education, Higher Education and apprenticeships in the South West. We work with hundreds of employers and deliver more than 70 apprenticeship and T-Level training programmes across a wide range of sectors and skill levels, including in Business, Construction, Engineering, Education, Healthcare and many more.
What will you be promoting on the day?
We are always looking for new employer partners who are able to provide valuable experience for our students through apprenticeships, T Level placements and work experience to help them develop the knowledge and skills they need to progress in the workplace. In addition, we will be promoting the range of opportunities we can offer businesses to upskill their employees through an apprenticeship or our extensive range of part-time courses.
What have you gained from past TBE Charity Conferences & Expos?
This will be our second year attending the TBE Charity Conference & Expo. Through this event, we have gained valuable insights into the needs of our community and built positive connections and relationships with employers in the local area.
What are you most looking forward to?
Meeting with our pre-existing network of employers, developing new connections and identifying new areas of opportunity.
