Swindon and Wiltshire Local Enterprise Partnership (SWLEP) is the headline sponsor of this year’s South West Expo Business Breakfast attended by up to 250 senior representatives of the region’s small and medium enterprises (SMEs).
The Business Breakfast is the opening event of the South West Expo, the south west’s largest business show, which takes place on Thursday June 30 at Swindon’s STEAM museum.
The pre-Expo breakfast is one of the most popular features of the show and provides an opportunity for SWLEP to meet owners, directors and other senior decision-makers from the thriving SME business community in Swindon and Wiltshire.
Paddy Bradley, SWLEP Director, said: “One of our strategic objectives recognises the need to strengthen the competitiveness of small and medium sized businesses, as well as attract a greater share of foreign and domestic investment into the area.
“Sponsoring the pre-Expo breakfast provides us with an excellent opportunity to engage with many of the region’s SMEs and show them what we as an organisation can do to support their growth ambitions.”
SWLEP also has a stand (Stand No8) at the main Expo, one of more than 80 exhibitors at the event which also includes seminars, workshops and high-profile keynote speakers.
Alec Jones-hall, director of South West Expo, said: “We are delighted that SWLEP is the headline sponsor of the pre-Expo breakfast. This year’s event promises to be bigger and better than ever with up to 250 senior business people attending the breakfast, with the Expo itself attended by representatives from over 900 businesses.”
In the weeks leading up to the Expo SWLEP will be embarking on a social media campaign to maximise awareness of the event.
The Expo is free to attend, but registration is essential. Click here to book your space at the breakfast and register for the show.
