Swindon’s Rockhaven Park secures first occupier

By Anita Jaynes on January 01, 2016

Rockhaven Developments has announced that Rockhaven Park, east Swindon’s new speculative industrial development, has secured its first occupier before it has even completed.

Morrells Wood Finishes Limited, who have over 30 branches across the UK and carry the Royal Warrant, have completed a new lease on Unit K19 at the entrance to the estate. They will shortly be commencing their own fit out before opening in the spring.

Nick Dowdeswell of Rockhaven Developments said: “We are delighted to have secured Morrells Wood Finishes as our first occupier. They are an excellent company who lead the market in their field and their presence will be of significant benefit to other occupiers considering Rockhaven Park. It is already a popular trade location with Howdens Joinery, Plumb Centre and Edmundson Electrical all being based in the immediate vicinity. There are also excellent facilities on Kembrey Street including the Kembrey Inn and Premier Inn.”

Rockhaven Park is scheduled for completion at the end of January and will provide a total of 19 units. They range in size from 1,500 sqft up to 3,125 sqft with the ability to create larger properties by combining units. They have been built to a particularly high standard and are available on a freehold basis with consideration also given to new occupational leases.

Joint agents for the development are Loveday, Whitmarsh Lockhart and Myddelton and Major all of whom can provide further information or arrange a tour of the park.
