Diamond PA Services have announced the launch of Swindon’s first-ever Trade Post Exhibition, on Wednesday 13 May, at the National Self-Build & Renovation Centre, Swindon SN5 8UB. An exhibition that enables tradesmen to connect, learn & share.

The Trade Post Exhibition offers an exciting new opportunity, open to all trades people working in Swindon and the surrounding area. It’s a unique chance to come together, from 5:00pm – 9:00pm, meet like-minded tradesmen and suppliers, make new contacts and share an abundance of local trade knowledge.

This action-packed event has plenty on offer, from speed trade swopping sessions, to knowledgeable masterclass talks about the latest Health & Safety regulations and pension changes, as well as an arena full of exhibitors showcasing their services and products. And, visitors get a free tea or coffee on arrival.

The event’s keynote speaker is Sue Elkington known as the ‘Refurb Queen’, who is Property Search TV’s resident refurbishment expert. Sue has 35 years of property and renovation experience and will be delivering a super-charged and highly practical speech, as she walks you through the minefield of property refurbishment.

Donna Redshaw, the exhibition’s originator and organiser who runs Diamond PA Services explained how she came up with the idea: “We work with various trade clients at Diamond PA Services, answering their phones and ordering their supplies, and we found we were constantly searching for other trades people to assist them i.e. skip hire companies, scaffolders and plasterers.”

“Whilst researching a venue for a training course, we came across the NSBRC and my creative juices went into overdrive! I thought it would be the ideal location to hold a trade persons conference where they can network with other trades, make new contacts and get useful advice on their own businesses.”

Anyone booking in advance over the phone on 01793 847200 is entitled to a 50% discount off the entry price – normally £10 – and entered into a free prize draw with the chance of winning two boxes of beer.

Diamond PA Services is holding a prize draw from their stand for the chance to win a month’s free telephone answering service which will be an additional and popular attraction.

“We’ve had really good feedback from everyone we’ve spoken to and some great companies have signed-up to exhibit, so don’t forget to bring plenty of business cards along, you are bound to need them. Entry tickets are selling fast, and I can’t wait to make this an annual event” Donna concluded.
