Bristol-based data consultancy, Data Cubed – which was founded by Helen Tanner who is originally from Swindon – recently celebrated its fifth anniversary.

Founded in 2017, the company helps local businesses turn their data into valuable insights so that they can easily check their business performance. As part of the celebration the company hosted an event for clients, partners and employees on 28th September at the Clifton Observatory.

Data3 is a bootstrapped, female led data analytics and AI solutions business that helps SMEs to utilise big business data strategies. Over the past five years the business has established itself as a leading data consultancy in Bristol and beyond. The company has also opened branches in New Zealand with plans for future expansion to Australia and Central Europe. The team of data experts have worked tirelessly over the past five years to show the value of data for local, national and global businesses.

The anniversary was an opportunity for the firm to celebrate its own achievements and the clients and partners who have made this rapid expansion and success possible.

Helen Tanner, Chief Executive Officer of Data Cubed, said, “Wow. We’re five! As a bootstrapped solo founder, it’s been the toughest five years of my life. But thanks to our amazing team, and our fabulous clients, we’ve transformed from a one-woman start-up to a global award-winning data business with big audacious goals for the future. Bring on 10 years!”

Since being founded, Data Cubed has delivered 100+ data projects, for over 70 businesses, and grown to a team of 20+.

It has won awards from Great British Entrepreneur Challenge 2019 and TechSpark 2020, and been accepted onto SETsquared, Natwest Entrepreneurial Spark and Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses programmes.
