Swindon Carers Centre partner with Intel to launch new website

Swindon Carers Centre (SCC) has launched a new website thanks to a very successful volunteer partnership with Intel.

Three colleagues in the Intel IT Department; Tony Moglione, Tom Wan and Jerome Crametz, have worked collaboratively with SCC to develop the new site which has been tested along the way by carer focus groups, SCC staff and trustees.

The official launch coincides with a new report from Carers UK which shows unpaid carers in Swindon save the economy £395 million per year. This highlights the importance of ensuring carers here know their rights and can find out how to get the help and support they are entitled to.

Susanna Jones, Communications and PR Manager at Swindon Carers Centre said: “We’d like to say a massive thank you to Intel, it’s been an absolute pleasure working with them on this project. Our new website looks fantastic. We could never have achieved such an outstanding result in such a short space of time without their expertise and professionalism.”
