Swindon businesses can learn how to make web content work

By Anita Jaynes on October 26, 2015

Effective web content to drive sales will be the focus of a networking breakfast in Swindon next week.

Banks BHG chartered accountants will host the free event at their Stratton offices, on November 4.

The event will look at content – especially video content – and how it can be used to engage customers and convert prospects in a structured, targeted and cost-effective way.

There will be three presenters. Tim Johns, corporate communications and change consultant and former corporate communications and media relations director at Unilever, BT & Sainsbury’s, will speak about how content marketing should be the cornerstone of business communications.

Dave Harries, managing director of Communicate TV, which specialises in interview-based video content, will talk on “How to produce as many as 90 videos in one day for £3,000”.

Finally, Steve Barton, digital marketing consultant and former president of the Word Of Mouth Marketing Association, will share hints and tips learned from experiences with content marketing programmes in the US and around the Globe.

The event runs from 7.30-9am and booking is required, either via www.banksbhg.com or by emailing claire.hunt@banksbhg.com.
