Swindon and Wiltshire’s Most Inspiring Women 2024 | Stacey Wilson

By Nick Batten on 7 March, 2024

To mark International Women’s Day 2024, which takes place every year on 8th March, we’re celebrating some of Swindon and Wiltshire’s most inspiring women.

Through our website and social media channels, we asked our readers which women in our community inspire them and created a list of 20. The list will be printed in our spring magazine and from Friday 1st March, every weekday throughout the month we are profiling and championing each of these fantastic women online and via our social feeds.

Today we put the spotlight on Stacey Wilson

Stacey’s career in digital started 18 years ago, working for a large independent digital and direct marketing agency. She joined the Infinity Nation team in 2019, heading up client services and consulting with prospective clients.

Her appetite for improving internal operations and success at mentoring the team saw her promoted to Chief Operating Officer in 2022.

As COO, Stacey oversees client and delivery operations; ensuring the company has the ideal team, strategy and processes in place. With a drive to constantly improve, Stacey acts as an example to the team and keeps everyone motivated.

Working her way up the corporate ladder and building a career, all whilst navigating family life and championing flexible working, Stacey is very much the definition of an inspiring woman.

One of her nominations said, “Stacey’s diligence, support and tenacity make her a brilliant female role model and make her the best COO for our business.”

Stacey added, “Digital marketing was a very male-oriented sector when I started my career, so I have been very fortunate to be provided a dynamic environment and free-reign to develop mine and the team’s skills.

“I’ve always been inquisitive and passionate about digital marketing. So being brave enough to stand out and have my own ideas, enabled me to be seen for the solutions I was identifying for clients and the businesses I have worked for, rather than staying in my lane as ‘the account manager’. This has paved the way to my acceleration within the agency world. Surrounding myself with a supportive team who are all committed to the ‘one-team’ mentality leads us to the success we are achieving today, and my honoured place on the IWD shortlist.

“I hope that I can inspire others to keep improving and doing what they love, as continued improvement and passion for your craft will keep pushing you towards your goals.”
