Warminster based SureSet is the leading manufacturer of resin bound surfacing materials and have been supplying permeable paving for residential and commercial projects for over 13 years.

At the end of March SureSet attended the National Homebuilding and Renovating Show at Birmingham NEC. The event was a huge success for the company with visitor figures for the show up by 20% on last year driving steady traffic to the SureSet stand.

The show is aimed at homeowners wanting to improve their current environment with trade stand exhibitors and seminars held throughout the day to help people realise and create their dream homes.

Many of the visitors to the SureSet stand were homeowners who had either built their home but not yet considered their driveway, or were about to start building. Almost all were aware that they were restricted to using a permeable surface of some sort, and saw SureSet as a welcome alternative to block paving. There was also a lot of interest for patios, where people no longer want slabs which get dirty and decking that gets slippery.

SureSet’s new base alternative to tarmac or concrete ‘SureCell’  was highly popular with the crowds too,  a strong recycled plastic that will withstand vehicular traffic but also allows the water to drain directly down to the water table.

“We have come away from the show feeling very positive about Permeable Paving having a presence in the domestic market” said Joni Carpenter Marketing Manager. “Our innovative products will prove to be a great success, providing homeowners a fully porous surfacing with great design flexibility” said Jacqui Anslow Sales Advisor.

The materials are available to purchase in easy to use DIY kits for keen self builders and are suitable for small projects and sufficient to cover 0.5m2. Trade packs are also available to install an area of 30m2.

For those less confident in their self build talent SureSet offer a full installation service by their own team or local approved installers. Visit for more information.
