The Future Smiths – support for businesses and entrepreneurs

A new community-driven organisation has been set up to advance entrepreneurship and innovation in the Swindon and Wiltshire area.

The Future Smiths is a Community Interest Company (CIC) established with the aim of fostering a vibrant and diverse business community where every enterprise has the opportunity to flourish.

The company offers a unique blend of support, mentorship and resources for startups through to established businesses, all completely free of charge.

The Future Smiths has announced two exciting initiatives aimed at aspiring entrepreneurs and business owners.

On Wednesday 27th September, the Building Stronger Communities for a Thriving Future networking event will take place in collaboration with Tech Spark Swindon & Wiltshire. The event will feature guest speaker and local entrepreneur James Phipps and will focus on the role of community-building in shaping tomorrow’s business landscape.

Between January and March, the Future Forge Business Growth Programme will offer entrepreneurs and small business owners the chance to equip themselves with the tools, knowledge, and connections they need to unlock their full potential. Applications for the programme are now open at

Duncan Robinson and Simone Ward-Baptiste, Co-Founders of The Future Smiths, bring a wealth of expertise to the programme. Their leadership ensures that those on the programme will receive mentorship and insights from individuals who have been at the forefront of innovation and business development in the region.
