Successful partnership helps more than 200 unemployed Wiltshire people into work

A successful partnership has given more than 200 unemployed people from across Wiltshire the opportunity to lift their careers to new heights.

TBG Learning, a leading work programme provider, is working with 24-7 Recruitment in Swindon to support local people into a range of warehouse roles with logistics company DHL, based at B&Q’s distribution centre in South Marston.

Since forming a close partnership with 24-7 Recruitment, TBG Learning has successfully placed 203 of their work programme customers into employment at the distribution centre.

Sixty-three people have joined in the last 12 months and this number is set to grow. Many candidates initially employed on a temporary basis have also gone on to achieve full time contracts, some advancing in to team leader roles within DHL and B&Q after exceptional performance.

TBG Learning, based at Minton Place on Station Road, Swindon, is delivering the Government’s Work Programme on behalf of Rehab JobFit, a Prime Work Programme contract holder for Wales and the South West.

“It’s fantastic to see candidates progressing to permanent roles and more senior positions, and is testament to the progress they’ve made after being referred to us for support.

“Our team is on hand to help people who have found it hard to get a new job or a foot in the door, through a mix of training and career guidance.”

Candidates undertake stringent assessments and tests with 24-7 Recruitment as part of the application process.
