Success for Melksham’s Business Growth Group

The Melksham based Business Growth Group (BGG)  is celebrating passing over £810,000 of business between its members in the last year.

The group launched in February 2013 and meets every Friday at the Kings Arms in Melksham between 6:45-8.30am.

BGG was set up to support owner managed businesses grow their sales pipeline. The group works on a referral system and in the last year the group have passed £810,910k between members. This is a real success story and shows the value of small businesses working in this way. In the last 12 months referral business has grown by over £40,000 and nine new members have been recruited with there being 31 now in total.

Mark Giles, Group Chair said: “As an independent growth group we are delighted with the success of BGG. Our members really support one another and help each other grow. We believe we’re one of the most successful, independent groups in the South West and we’re really proud of this.”

Group members include, Debbie Pepler of Peptalk, Devision IT, SMARTech-energy and Kings Court Financial Planning to name a few.
