Abhiram Mokasdar has joined Corsham-based SMARTech energy as lead energy consultant.
In his new role, Abhiram will head up SMARTech energy’s specialist energy management team and “support the company in its growth ambitions within the energy consultancy sector.”
He completed his master’s degree in mechanical engineering in the USA and joins SMARTech energy from India based DRA Consultants Limited, where he was the senior mechanical engineer working within India’s energy and water sector.
Abhiram’s key achievements included an energy audit of India’s fifth largest city and managing the implementation of eco-friendly smart city transport in all major cities.
Stuart Pearce, MD of SMARTech energy, said: “I’m really excited to have Abhiram join our growing energy consultancy team. We are really impressed by his work ethos, experience and knowledge and this has already identified him as a key asset for the company.”
Abhiram remarked that this is an “exciting time” to be joining an energy management and reduction company that “not only strives to continually deliver carbon savings and to reduce energy costs for its customers but whose practices influence more sustainable energy choices which reduce an organisation’s environmental impact.”
Stuart added that with significant demands and mounting pressures on businesses and organisations and the unknown implications of Brexit, this appointment is a “further endorsement” of SMARTech energy’s commitment “to deliver the best energy management services, products and customer service.”
