Share your views on the Future High Streets Fund Salisbury

Following the successful award of £9.4 million from Central Government through the Future High Streets Fund, Wiltshire Council have developed three transformational projects for Salisbury.

These include:

  • Salisbury Station Forecourt – redesigning the station forecourt making it more attractive and accessible for visitors and residents
  • Fisherton Gateway – improvements to the road network and public spaces along South Western Road and Fisherton Street
  • Heritage Living – redeveloping a vacant listed building and creating apartments in unoccupied spaces above shops

Two of these projects(Station Forecourt and Fisherton Gateway) are now at a stage where Wiltshire Council are seeking your views during a six-week consultation period.

Interested parties can visit one of the public exhibitions with the opportunity to discuss the proposals with members of the team.These are being held at Salisbury Guildhall on:

  • Wednesday 30th March, 2.30pm – 6.30pm
  • Thursday 7th April, 2.30pm – 6.30pm

Further pop-up events are also being held at:

  • Salisbury Library on Monday 28th March, 10am-12pm
  • Salisbury Railway Station on Monday 4th April, 3pm-6pm
  • Five Rivers Health & Wellbeing Centre on Wednesday 6th April, 3pm-6.30pm

People are also encouraged to complete an online survey and share feedback on the Future High Streets Fund projects. All feedback needs to be received prior to the end of the consultation at 5pm on Tuesday 19th April 2022.
