The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel has been awarded the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence for the third year in a row.

Awarded to the top 10 per cent of hospitality businesses listed on TripAdvisor, the world’s largest travel review website, the accolade recognises hospitality excellence in all aspects of the industry entirely based on consumer ratings.

To be awarded the certificate businesses must have an overall TripAdvisor review rating of 4 stars or higher out of a possible five and must maintain this high standard for 12 months in a row.

Derek McNeill, general manager of The Legacy Rose & Crown Hotel said:“We strive to offer our customers a memorable experience and this award is evidence that our hard work is translating into positive reviews on TripAdvisor. We as a team are so proud to be a part of the Salisbury and Wiltshire community and it’s great to see us and other businesses receive the recognition they deserve from visitors to the area and from local residents.”

One of Salisbury’s oldest hotels, dating back to the 13th century, last year the Rose & Crown’s waterfront restaurant, bar and terrace – The Rivers Edge – underwent an extensive £100,000 refurbishment unveiling a brand new all day dining concept. Boasting a conservatory dining room with 180 degree views across the River Avon and a huge outdoor space, the hotel is not just a destination for many tourists but a venue for many weddings, celebrations and corporate events.
