International Coaching Week (ICW)- which takes place across the globe next month – will be coming to Salisbury on 8 May where it continues to gain popularity.

Founded in 1999 by Jerri N. Udelson, master certified coach at International Coach Federation (ICF), the event has been “educating the public” on the “value of partnering with a professional coach” and increasing awareness of the results and progress made through coaching.

Today ICF is a “proud sponsor” of ICW and encourages coaches all over the globe to participate each year.

The organisers believe that local events, like the one in Salisbury, can contribute to a “massive global impact.” Every year, local ICF coaches celebrate ICW by offering a variety of activities and pro bono services in their local communities to share coaching’s positive impact.

Ross Nichols, organiser of Salisbury International Coaching Week, explained: “Salisbury is one of the few coaching groups in UK that has a formal programme of events for International Coaching Week. This is our third year and we are growing exponentially.

“All our events are FREE to attend and our presenters will provide engaging coaching experiences for our participants across a wide range of topics on coaching, NLP and psychotherapy.”

Magdalena Mook, CEO and executive director of ICF, said that International Coaching Week is a time to talk about the “amazing potential” coaching offers to individuals and organizations.

The Salisbury event will be launched by internationally renowned solo musician, social entrepreneur and life coach, Rachel Roberts and takes place at Riverside House, Salisbury.
