Chippenham-based bid management firm Purpol Marketing has successfully won five places on the prestigious G-Cloud 11 National Government Framework.
G-Cloud is the Crown Commercial Services framework offering government agencies the opportunity to procure ICT services across different categories, enabling them to use specialist consultants. As the Government continues to move to one central platform for all procurement services, G-Cloud and the Digital Marketplace has received significant support from the Cabinet Office.
The G-Cloud framework is an agreement between the government and suppliers who provide cloud-based services. G-Cloud services are divided into three categories, or ‘lots’:
- cloud hosting
- cloud software
- cloud support
Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts. Buyers and suppliers still need to sign a contract (or ‘call-off contract’) for each service bought through a framework.
Purpol Marketing is now featured under the Cloud support element for nine submitted services:
- Award Entry writing
- Bid Management / Bid writing / Bid Support
- Bid Management Services all sectors
- Bid Management Services – construction sector
- Bid Support services
- Bid writing services
- Strategic Marketing support
- Tender Management Support
- Tender writing
To become a G-Cloud approved supplier, organisations have to prove their expertise. Only consultants that understand the market and technologies with an expert level candidate network are selected.
Managing Director Denise O’Leary, said, “We are thrilled to have retained our place on the G cloud Framework, for even more services regarding our bid and marketing expertise. We have been selected for every lot we bid for on this significant national framework. Having previously advised our clients how to successfully secure a place on G-Cloud, we understand how important it is to be featured as well.”
She continued “We live and breathe bid writing to help our clients to win and we work across many sectors across the UK so it made sense to make sure we had a prominent presence on the framework as Purpol. By winning nine lot places including how to win awards, we have put ourselves in the position to be selected from when clients are looking to use the ease of the framework to procure bid writing expertise.”
The G-Cloud 11 is the 11th generation of the framework and went live on July 2nd 2019 and is scheduled to run for a year.
