Chippenham’s bid management experts Purpol Marketing have won five places on the Government’s digital marketplace G-Cloud.

G-Cloud is a UK Government initiative created to help suppliers bid better for local and central government tenders. It forms part of a strategy to move to one central platform for all procurement services. Buying services through frameworks is faster and cheaper than entering into individual procurement contracts.

Purpol Marketing can now offer professional services to suppliers in five key areas:

  • Bid Management / Bid writing / Bid Support
  • Tender writing
  • Award Entry writing
  • Tender Management Support
  • Bid Management Services – construction sector

To become a G-Cloud approved supplier, organisations had to prove their expertise. Only consultants that understand the market and technologies with an expert level candidate network are selected.

Purpol Marketing’s managing director Denise O’Leary said: “We are thrilled to be selected for every lot we bid for on this significant national framework. We have previously advised our clients how to successfully secure a place on G-Cloud and decided that for this generation, we would bid ourselves, as much of our bid writing support is provided in the cloud.

“We live and breathe bid writing to help our clients to win and we work across many sectors across the UK, so it made sense to make sure we had a prominent presence on the framework as Purpol. By winning 5 lot places we have put ourselves in the position to be selected from when clients are looking to use the ease of the framework to procure bid writing expertise.”
