Purpol Marketing shortlisted for finals of Best Business Women Awards

The Best Business Women Awards has named Chippenham’s Purpol Marketing as a finalist in its ‘Best Business’ and ‘Best Business Woman in Business Services’ categories.

The Best Business Women Awards aims to recognise the achievements of female entrepreneurs across a wide range of business categories who not only run successful businesses but in many cases also juggle the needs of their families. The Awards are open to any female business owner UK wide.

Set up by ‘mumpreneur’ Debbie Gilbert three years ago,  winners of these awards become lifetime members of the ‘Best Business Women Awards’ club, which means they will continue to be supported by the BBWAs on an ongoing basis.

Purpol Marketing was founded by Denise O’Leary in 2014 to provide “specialised consultancy” for marketing strategy and tender bid management specifically to SMEs (small and medium sized enterprises) and startups on a pay-as-you-go basis.

Denise has made the final for Best Business Women in Business Services, which will be presented to the best female in the professional services whose businesses serve other companies and demonstrate the “outstanding contribution” they have made to their clients. Similarly, the Best Business Award will be presented to the business which showcases “outstanding achievement and success,” in terms of profitability, customer service, growth and innovation.

Speaking of the awards, Debbie Gilbert, organiser of The Best Business Women Awards, said “All the women who enter have amazing stories to tell and I love the passion they put into their businesses. To be a finalist is a major achievement. Finalists have been selected for their business acumen, determination, creativity and tenacity. Over 80% of start-ups fail in the first 3 years and all our finalists are all shining examples of being successful entrepreneurs who have proved their success to our judges.”

Denise, managing director of Purpol Marketing, added, “To be considered a finalist for the two categories is a real accolade. To be recognised within the business world of such talented and dedicated female entrepreneurs across the UK is such a wonderful feeling!”

The winners of each category will be announced at an event taking place near Welwyn in Hertfordshire on 12 October, with sponsors that include Clydesdale Bank, and Crane and Staples.
